Discover which Adventure on Kami's Island singles are worth adding to your One Piece TCG collection, including the Secret Rare Luffy foil and budget-friendly support cards.
Quick answer
If you're after a centerpiece for your collection, go for the Monkey.D.Luffy Secret Rare foil. For budget-friendly deck support, Nezumi and Kotori offer useful effects without breaking the bank.
Why rarity and effect matter more than power alone
In the One Piece TCG, a card's raw power stat doesn't always decide its value. The Luffy Secret Rare (OP15-119) has a power of 7000, but its real draw is the [Rush] ability when you have 6 or more DON!! cards, plus a potential +1000 power boost. That combination makes it a game-changer in late-game turns.
On the other hand, common cards like Nezumi (OP15-010) and Kotori (OP15-064) have lower power but provide flexible DON!! management or opponent disruption. Their value lies in consistency, not flashy stats.
Condition matters for long-term value
All four cards are available with different condition options at Super Anime Store. A Near Mint Secret Rare Luffy foil will hold its value better than a played copy, especially if you plan to resell or grade. For common cards, condition is less critical unless you're building a pristine set.
If you're a player, a lightly played Luffy foil still performs the same in a deck, so you can save money there. Collectors should prioritize Near Mint for the Luffy.
How to decide which single to buy
- Collector seeking a showpiece: Buy the Monkey.D.Luffy Secret Rare foil (OP15-119). It's the most visually striking and mechanically powerful card in this set. Check condition options – Near Mint holds value best.
- Budget player building a Red deck: Pick up Nezumi (OP15-010) for $0.11. It's a cheap way to accelerate your DON!! curve.
- Purple combo player: Get Kotori (OP15-064) for $0.09, but only if you also have Satori and Hotori to enable its effect. This card is useless without its combo partners.
- Black deck graveyard control: Margarita (OP15-091) at $0.07 is the cheapest way to disrupt recursion, but its effect is narrow. Only buy if your local meta relies on trash recursion.
Card highlights
- Monkey.D.Luffy (OP15-119) (OP15-119) - Adventure on Kami's Island Foil: Secret Rare Luffy foil gains [Rush] when you have 6+ DON!! cards on your field, and can reveal Life cards to gain +1000 power. This makes Luffy a powerful late-game attacker that can break through stalled boards, ideal for aggressive Yellow decks.
Monkey.D.Luffy (OP15-119) (OP15-119) - Adventure on Kami's Island Foil - Nezumi (OP15-010) - Adventure on Kami's Island: Nezumi (OP15-010) lets you give one rested DON!! card to a Leader or Character once per turn. It's a cheap way to accelerate your DON!! curve, giving you a tempo advantage in Red decks.
Nezumi (OP15-010) - Adventure on Kami's Island - Kotori (OP15-064) - Adventure on Kami's Island: Kotori (OP15-064) can rest an opponent's Character with 5000 power or less if you control Satori and Hotori. This combo piece lets Purple decks disrupt early-game threats without spending extra DON!!.
- Margarita (OP15-091) - Adventure on Kami's Island: Margarita (OP15-091) places one card from the opponent's trash at the bottom of their deck on play. It's a niche graveyard disruption tool that can deny recursion strategies in Black decks.
