A practical FAQ on the SKULLPANDA The Sound Series blind box: what's inside, how many figures to expect, and whether it's worth collecting.
Quick answer
Expect one randomly selected SKULLPANDA vinyl figure from The Sound Series in each blind box. The exact number of figures in the full series is not listed in the product data, so check the official POP MART checklist before assuming a set size.
Why the blind box format matters for this series
The Sound Series is a dark-aesthetic designer toy line, and the blind box format means you cannot choose which figure you get. That randomness is the point: it keeps the cost per figure low and makes trading or buying multiples part of the hobby.
Because the figure inside is random, two boxes of the same product can contain different characters. If you want a specific design, a blind box is not a guaranteed route to it.
What the product data does not tell you
The catalog lists the brand, series, and type, but it does not state the total number of figures in The Sound Series, the odds of each figure, or whether secret or chase figures exist. Those details are set by POP MART and can change, so treat any unlisted number as unknown rather than assumed.
This matters when you plan a purchase: without a confirmed series size, you cannot calculate how many boxes it might take to complete a set.
SKULLPANDA The Sound Series: common questions answered
- How many figures are in The Sound Series?
- The supplied product data does not list a total figure count for The Sound Series. Check POP MART's official checklist for the current number before you try to complete a set. Do not assume a set size from a single box listing.
- What exactly is in one SKULLPANDA blind box?
- One vinyl figure from The Sound Series, chosen at random. The box does not let you pick the character.
- Can I get duplicates if I buy multiple boxes?
- Yes. Because each box is random, buying several boxes can produce the same figure more than once. That is normal for blind boxes and not a defect. Budget for possible duplicates rather than expecting every box to be new.
- Is this a good first SKULLPANDA purchase?
- It is a low-cost entry point to the line at the catalog price, but it is not the right choice if you need a specific figure or dislike random outcomes.
